Tom Giles is the executive editor of the global technology team at Bloomberg News. He previously served as managing editor of U.S.  company news and team leader for U.S. technology. Tom was also the editor of Businessweek.com’s Technology channel, based in Silicon Valley.

Before joining Businessweek.com in 2005, Giles was deputy technology team leader at Bloomberg News, where he spent more than eight years, with stints in New York, London and San Francisco. He holds a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University and a B.A. in politics from Princeton University.
